THE LEGAL Education Board has recognized the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila for achieving a 100% passing rate during the 2020/2021 Bar examinations.
The university was among the few education institutions that mustered a 100% passing rate, with all 31 law graduates hurdling the Bar exam.
The national passing rate stood at 72.28%.
The university was also one of seven law schools under the Group 3 category, or those that fielded between 11 to 50 first-time Bar takers during the series of examinations held in February 2022.
The perfect passing rate meant PLM clinched the top rank.
PLM College of Law Dean Magelio Arboladura and College Secretary Mazna Lutchavez received a plaque from LEB chairperson Anna Marie Melanie Trinidad in a ceremony held on Tuesday at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.
“Congratulations to our alumni, faculty, and staff at the PLM College of Law for this amazing feat! May we continue to provide high quality education to our current and future students,” PLM President Emmanuel Leyco said.
