JO KOY INAUGURATES DONATED ROAD FOR SCHOOL
FILIPINO-AMERICAN comedian Joseph “Jo Koy” Glenn Herbert led the inauguration ceremony of a road he donated leading to a high school.
The comedian who arrived in the country on December 28 for a family vacation in Bacolod City donated the 412-meter road to Alangilan National High School also in Bacolod through his foundation.
The comedian’s foundation donated P1,593,000 for the project but reported that only P1.2 million was spent for the road.
The remaining amount was used for the rehabilitation of the school’s facilities.
Jo Koy also donated an additional P1.2 million for the construction of a basketball court and canteen for the school.
