ATENEO de Naga Center for Community Development spearheaded the disinfection of public transportation vehicles at the Plaza Quezon, Camarines Sur over the weekend.

The outreach activity was in partnership with the local government of Naga City and participated in by some volunteer employees of the university as part of the Ignatiana 2020.

Mayor Son Legacion witnessed the opening ceremony that was also attended by jeepney and tricycle drivers.

The Ignatiana Outreach is held annually in celebration of the feast of St. Ignatius Loyala.

This year Jesuits schools opted to support various concerns of the community badly affected by the Covid19 pandemic such as health, education, mass transport, and labor.

The whole day activity was aimed to help Naga City drivers comply with the government health protocols on mass public transport during this time of the pandemic.
