IFUGAO STATE U PROVIDES INTERNET AND READING MATERIALS TO CHILDREN
THE IFUGAO State University has facilitated a donation that will be used to bolster the education of children in the province.
The school said that it received a donation of P30,000 from London-based Cordillera Ladies’ Group Association for its Community Learning Centers’ Project Advancing Development through Accessible Learning opportunities or ADAL.
IFSU said that the money will be used to buy reading materials and supplies for children and install internet connectivity in a learning center in Barangay Duit.
IFSU has been supporting CLCs in Duit, Kiangan and Panopdopan.
In 2019, Steve Hayes and Rose Licyayo-Hayes donated P15,000 worth of goods. In 2021, they donated cash for the CLCs.
A student organization from IFSU also held an outreach program for Nayon Day Care Center where they donated school supplies.
