GUIMARAS STATE COLLEGE RECEIVES P15-M GRANT FROM CHED
THE GUIMARAS State College has received funding from the Commission on Higher Education for its project to modernize its HRM Training Laboratory.
The commission gave P15 million to help the students enhance their learning.
“The CHED grant will help fund the acquisition of the training laboratory facilities and equipment of the college Hospitality Management program,” GSC said on Facebook.
The school added that the money will be used to upgrade the laboratory and procure state-of-the-art training facilities “to further enhance program quality of teaching and learning.”
The modernization of the training facilities was a project of the school’s president, Dr. Lillian Diana B. Parreño.
CHED also awarded GSC with a Certificate of Program Compliance for its Mechanical Engineering and Food Technology programs for its Mosqueda and Salvador campuses, respectively.
