FEU STUDENT GROUP ESTABLISHES ‘ISKOLAR NG MGA TAMARAW’

THE FAR Eastern University has established a scholarship program for its students who are facing financial problems and struggling to pay tuition.

The FEU Central School Organization passed a resolution allocating 20 percent of its budget for the scholarship program.

“FEU CSO allocates 20% of its annual budget for ‘Iskolar ng mga Tamaraw’ Scholarship Program,” it said on a Facebook post.

The CSO said the scholarship program was for FEU students who need assistance in paying their tuition and other fees.

The program will be implemented in the second semester of Academic Year 2020-2021.

The FEU CSO, the highest student-led legislative body in the university, approved a resolution establishing the FEU Central Student Organization Scholarship Program also known as Iskolar ng mga Tamaraw’ during its second session recently.

The Implementing Rules and Regulations of the resolution has also been approved.

Scholarship eligibility and mechanics of the program will be announced soon.
