TO boost the internship program and improve work opportunities of students, the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management of the Far Eastern University recently signed a partnership agreement with Novotel Suites Manila at Acqua.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed by FEU officials led by its President Dr. Michael Alba and Novotel General Manager Raul Aquino.

The University said that the partnership will “enhance the relationship of the Internship program given to all incoming ITHM 4th year student interns, as well as partnership for placement and other areas of academe and industry collaboration.”

ITHM Dean Dr. Joy Sheelah Baraero-Era described the alliance as strategic.

Baraero-Era said that the collaboration is based on shared principles and goals, focusing on providing valuable services to customers and making a meaningful impact on the community.

Aquino said that he will ensure that all students gain a great deal of information and experience while under their supervision.

The ceremonial signing was witnessed by Associate Dean of ITHM Johncent del Rosario, ITHM Department Chair for HRM Jan Racky Masa, Director of University Industry Linkages under the Academic Affairs Office Dr. Adalbert Alcaide and Carolina Roces.
