DSSC BREAKS GROUND FOR NEW BUILDINGS
THE DAVAO del Sur State College held ground breaking ceremonies for four buildings that will be constructed in two campuses.
School officials and project leaders attended the ceremonies.
The buildings will rise at the DSSC Main campus and Matanao Extension campus.
A Bamboo Hub Processing Building and Training Briefing Hall will rise in the Matanao Extension campus in Kapoc, Matanao, Davao del Sur.
It aims to boost the development of the bamboo industry in the Davao region, which is part of the BREAD SAVSUR: Upscaling Bamboo Rural Enterprise and Development joint project of the college and the Department of Agriculture.
On the other hand, the Main campus will soon have an Indigenous People Farmers’ Field Schools for Environmental Conservation and Cacao Sensory and Isotope Laboratory.
