DORSU RECEIVES FOOD PACKS
THE DAVAO Oriental State University received food packs from Davao Oriental 2nd District Rep. Cheeno Miguel Almario.
The food packs were distributed to 364 students, who are residents of the City of Mati and other municipalities in the province’s second district— Banaybanay, Lupon, San Isidro, and Governor Generoso.
Congressman Almario personally handed out the food packs to the students.
In his speech, Almario emphasized the importance of solidarity in times of crisis, stressing the “importance of mutual support within the community.”
He reiterated his unwavering commitment “to supporting DOrSU’s initiatives and vowed to continue championing its endeavors.”
The initiative supplemented the university-led donation drive to aid students adversely affected by recent flooding.
