DNSC VACCINATES 542 STUDENTS
THE DAVEO del Norte State College had so far vaccinated 542 students.
The vaccination drive is in preparation for the conduct of limited face-to-face classes.
The DNSC said that 184 students were from the Institute of Teacher Education; 182 from the Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Good Governance; 110 from the Institute of Computing; and 66 from the Institute of Aquatic and Applied Sciences.
The college partnered with the Department of Health and the Commission on Higher Education to implement its “Sama-samang Vaccination Program for Tertiary Students in Davao Region.”
“It is the College’s privilege to have ample resources to be able to contribute to the recovery of the Philippines from the pandemic,” DNSC said.
CHED has allowed universities to conduct limited face-to-face classes in areas under Alert Levels 1,2 and 3.
Schools must have a high vaccination rate, retrofitted classrooms, and approval from the concerned local government units to be given the green light to conduct physical classes.
