DLSU GRADUATE TOPS CHEMICAL ENGINEER LICENSURE EXAM
A GRADUATE of the De La Salle University-Manila topped the Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) this month.
Christian Jay Pagunuran Balboa got a score of 92.60 percent.
John Vincent Tiu Yu and Ian Jason Pangilinan Ebio, both from the University of the Philippines-Diliman, placed second and third, respectively.
Yu got 88.30 percent, while Ebio got 88.40 percent.
The PRC said 472 out of 801 examinees passed the test given by the Board of Chemical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi and Rosales.
The top performing schools with 10 or more examinees getting at least 80% are UP Diliman (96.67); Pamatansan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (90.48); UP Visayas (90); UP Los Baños (88.10); University of San Carlos (85.71); and Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (81.48).
