THE LASALLIAN Social Enterprise for Economic Development Center of the De La Salle University has been elected as a member of both the regional committee and board of trustees of the Institute for Social Entrepreneurship in Asia.

LSEED Center Director Norby Salonga will serve as representative of DLSU.

The confirmation was held during ISEA’s regional assembly in Bangkok, Thailand last week.

Founded by Dr. Maria Lisa Dacanay, ISEA is a regional learning and action network set up by social enterprises and social enterprise resource institutions and scholars to catalyze knowledge creation, capacity development and movement-building for social entrepreneurship in the region.

Meanwhile, Salonga represented DLSU during the 4th Social Enterprise Advocacy and Leveraging Asia Conference held in Bangkok, Thailand from March 22 to 23, 2023.

Themed “Social Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Partnerships: Towards Inclusive Recovery and Accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals,” the event was a curtain raiser to the United Nations ESCAP’s 10th Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development.
