THE De La Salle University-Dasmariñas signed a two-year partnership agreement with the University of the Philippines-Los Baños to develop academic and educational cooperation.

The memorandum of understanding signed by UPLB Chancellor Jose Camacho Jr. and DLSU-D President Br. Francisco de la Rosa VI covers the exchange of faculty, researchers and students and collaborative research and extension projects.

There will also be lectures, symposia, capacity-building programs, exchange of academic information and materials, as well as promotion of other academic activities.

“The formalization of the partnership between DLSU-D and UPLB will lead to increased research collaborations, innovation, and knowledge sharing for the faculty and students; we could achieve greater accomplishments and contribute more to national development,” Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research Dr. Johnny Ching said.

The signing of the agreement was witnessed by DLSU-D Vice President for Linkages and External Affairs Dr. Sonia Gementiza, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research Dr. Johnny Ching, and Office for Institutional Development in Higher Education Director Greg T. Pawilen.
