DLSU-D STUDENTS EXCEL IN 22ND ECONOMIX: GLOBAL ECONOMIC CHALLENGES
DE LA SALLE University-Dasmariñas made its mark on the international stage at the 22nd Economix: Global Economic Challenges, a prestigious event hosted by Universitas Indonesia.
Kevin Roy David, a BSBA Business Economics student, won the Model United Nations Most Outstanding Delegate Award in the UNCTAD Council.
The school was also represented by Business Economics students Brian Pasion and Maria Angela Dela Cruz, who competed in the highly competitive Paper Competition, along with John Carl Yusongco, who participated in the Model United Nations segment.
“DLSU-D’s success at the 22nd Economix reinforces its commitment to academic excellence, global competitiveness, and the empowerment of future economic leaders,” the school said.
The team was guided by Dr. Alice T. Valerio, a professor in the Business and Economics department.
Economix is a three-day international forum that brings together students from around the world to discuss critical economic issues and propose innovative solutions.
Organized by FEB UI, the event fosters intellectual discourse and collaboration among future economic leaders. Beyond the competitions, Economix also serves as a platform for cultural exchange, promoting international collaboration and the sharing of diverse perspectives on economic challenges.
