CSU’S POT TECHNOLOGY TO BE COMMERCIALIZED
THE NOVELTY Pot Technology developed by the Cagayan State University will soon be reproduced and specialized after a pottery shop bought the license for the technology.
The CSU said that the technology, developed through the research of Professor Jhoana Calubaquib, will be transferred to Mr. John Vincent Deanon of J’s Pottery after the online contract signing of Technology Licensing Agreement and awarding of Fairness Opinion Report.
Novelty Pot Technology uses eggshell powder and tatty ragged towel as an eco-friendly, cost-effective, and durable alternative to traditional plant pot ingredients.
This product, developed through the strong support of CSU President Urdujah Alvarado, promotes responsible recycling as it uses eggshell waste as alternative building material while providing sustainable livelihood.
J’s Pottery will reproduce and commercialize the developed products.
The Department of Science and Technology in Region II and the Technology Application and Promotions Institute hosted the signing of the memorandum of agreement, in collaboration with the Isabela State University and the Batanes State University.
