THE CEBU Normal University recently partnered with the Oxford International Education Group in a bid to enhance academic excellence and foster global learning opportunities.

A memorandum of agreement was signed by CNU president Dr. Daniel A. Ariaso, Sr. and Oxford’s Head of Partnerships for Asia Dominic Archer.

“The MOA signing marks the start of a dynamic partnership, setting the stage for joint initiatives that will significantly contribute to the internationalization efforts of CNU and the Oxford International Education Group,” the school said.

Through the partnership, CNU and Oxford International Education Group aim to achieve more international visibility for CNU through promotion of the Oxford English Language Level Test.

This initiative focuses on providing English proficiency exams online, covering the four macro skills—reading, listening, writing, and speaking.

The Oxford ELLT will also be valuable for foreign students seeking admission to CNU to ensure “they meet the necessary English language requirements for their academic pursuits.”

After the signing ceremony, a short meeting was held at the Office of the University President, where future initiatives and strategies were discussed.
