CHMSC TO HOLD VIDEO CONTEST TO MARK VAWC MONTH
AS PART of its campaign to end Violence Against Women and Children, the Carlos Hilado Memorial State and College will hold a video contest.
CHMSC said the competition, with the theme “VAW-Free Community Starts With Me,” is open to all students in its four campuses.
“Video content should be ethically appropriate to the general public. Appropriateness with language, clothing, no nudity, no violence,” CHMSC said.
“Contestants are encouraged to make their videos informative yet creative and engaging,” it added.
Video entries must be 3 to 5 minutes long, in MP4 format with a resolution of 720p to 1080p and must use the song “Isang Bilyong Babae ang Babangon.”
Each video will be shortlisted per campus. The finalists will be announced on November 17 and the winners will be revealed on the 25th.
The winners will receive P3,000 for 1st place, P2,000 for second place and P1,000 for 3rd place.
VAWC is celebrated every November.
