CHMSC SEEKS DONATION FOR FLOOD VICTIMS

/ 4 January 2021

THE CARLOS Hilado Memorial State College in Negros Occidental is asking donations for residents affected by floods.

Non-stop rains that started on New Year’s eve triggered floods in several communities.

The school said that it will accept cash or in-kind donations like food, clothes, personal protective equipment, and hygiene materials for its CHMSCyanihan project.

“From December 31 until New Year’s Day, several communities in Talisay, Silay, EB Magalona, and Victorias were inundated due to heavy rainfall. Flood waters rose to roof level of some houses and several household belongings and food supplies were washed out,” the school said.

“Once again, we are called to live out our CHMSCyanihan Spirit. LET US HELP rebuild the lives of our brothers and sisters affected by the flood. Your donations will surely go a long way,” it added

Cash donations can be wired through Rhoderick K. Samonte’s GCash account: 09454407276.

Food and other donations can be dropped off at the CHMSC Talisay Campus.

“CHMSC students who want to donate may connect with their respective SSG and NSTP officers,” the school said.
