A GRADUATE of the Centro Escolar University earned the top spot in the Oral Diplomate Examination of the Philippine College of Endocrinology Diabetes and Metabolism.

Dr. Ruben Zarate also claimed the first place in the written examination.

Zarate took his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in CEU in 2009.

His active involvement as Secretary and Vice President of the Pharmacy Student Council from 2007 to 2009 earned him a Leadership Award when he graduated.

He is currently working at Tarlac Medical Center Hospital, Central Luzon Doctor’s Hospital, Jecsons Medical Center Hospital, and David Physical Therapy Clinic.

The PCEDM is a sub-specialty society of the Philippine College of Physicians (a specialty component of the Philippine Medical Association), a founding member of the ASEAN Federation of Endocrine Societies, and a member of the International Society of Endocrinology.
