CEBU NORMAL UNIVERSITY BUILDS NEW BUILDING
TO ACCOMMODATE more enrollees, the Cebu Normal University-Balamban Campus will erect a three-story building.
The new building will have 12 classrooms and two laboratories.
Dr. Levi Atibula, CNU Balamban Campus director, said the construction of the new building was planned two years ago. The new building will answer the need for more classrooms because of the growing student population.
Abitula expressed his gratitude to Deputy Speaker and Representative Pablo John Garcia of the 3rd District of Cebu who sponsored the building. He also thanked Architect Leo Edwin Mutia who drew its exterior design.
“Congressman Garcia allocated a budget of P25 million for the three-story building and was also instrumental in the establishment of the first CNU Balamban building by allocating a budget of P10 million for its construction,” Abitula said.
“He has also given educational assistance to students in the 3rd District of Cebu wherein some students in Balamban are beneficiaries amid the pandemic,” he added.
Atibula said the construction of a driveway with a covered pathway will be the school’s next project.
