CARAGA STATE U GRADUATE TOPS MINING ENGINEER LICENSURE EXAM
A graduate of the Caraga State University in Butuan City topped the Mining Engineer Licensure Examination given this month.
Andy Llanita Macasaet led the successful examinees with a score of 88.25 percent.
The Professional Regulation Commission said 206 out of the 207 examinees passed.
Hobbie Alonzo Capuyan of Cebu Institute of Technology-University placed second with a rate of 88.10 percent, while Rovin Jay Binlayo Sallena of Bicol University-Legazpi ranked third with 87.85 percent.
The three were followed by Artsheil Aldrene Teleron Gilig of Cebu Institute of Technology-University (87.75); Loren Joy Estrera Gonzales of University of Southeastern Philippines-Davao City (87.65); Christine Andrea from USEP (87.30); and Manuel Guma Sarong, Jr. of CSU (87.30).
Completing the top 10 list are Jennel Raven Verzosa Dytuco from Saint Louis University (87.15); Genevieve Birondo Langga of Cebu Institute of Technology-University (87.15); Emily Joyce Ekwey Dela Cruz of University of the Philippines-Diliman (87.05); Kent Forcadilla Pantolla of CSU (87); and Harvy Jason Sutana Contreras of CSU (86.90).
Meanwhile, Bicol University in Legazpi was named as the only top performing school with a rating of 85.5 percent — 29 of its 34 examinees passed.
