BULACAN STATE UNIVERSITY EMPLOYEES GET MODERNA JABS
THE PHILIPPINE Red Cross vaccinated Bulacan State University employees with Moderna for free in response to the request of the Bulacan Red Cross Youth advisers.
The PRC Bulacan Chapter, under the leadership of Administrator Ricardo Villacorte, also partnered with the Malolos local health unit to conduct a vaccination program every Thursday at the BSU Gymnasium.
“Mahalagang mabigyan agad ng agarang aksiyon ang pagbabakuna sa ating mga guro para sila ay maging ligtas kontra Covid19. Sa pamamagitan ng pagbabakuna at regular testing ay mapapabilis na natin ang pagbubukas ng mga eskwelahan at makakapasok na sa kani-kanilang trabaho, at mas mabilis mabubuksan ang ating ekonomiya,” Sen. Dick Gordon said.
The PRC Bulacan chapter also continues its saliva testing in Robinson’s Malolos and the chapter premises every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The chapter recorded the highest production of saliva collection in Region III, having tested 7,993 specimens since it started its Saliva RT-PCR testing last February 2021.
Despite the pandemic, the chapter continues its blood donation drive through a partnership with Jollibee.
It also held fund-generating activities to establish a PRC Blood Center in San Jose del Monte to serve areas in Region III that need blood.
