THE BUKIDNON  State University is looking for entries for a virtual photo exhibit that will be shown at the Mindanao Peace Studies Conference on November 26, 2020.

The exhibit, dubbed “Peace for Mindanao in the New Normal”, has the theme “Peace in the COVID-19 Pandemic, Peace in Mindanao in the New Normal” for its 6th rendition.

The university said it will accept entries showing stories of hope and peace amid the Covid19 pandemic. People aged 15-30 living in Mindanao were encouraged to submit their entries.

“Inviting photographers to submit their photos telling stories of hope, showing resilience and opportunities for peace in times of pandemic. Tell us in a photo how you see yourself promoting peace against the challenges created by the COVID-19 and the new normal in Mindanao, and you just might get your dream,” BUKSU said in a Facebook post.

Photographers of the top 20 photos will be given a free pass to a master class about photography and will be featured at FSUU and GIZ’s social media channels.

The deadline for submission of entries is on November 1, 2020 at exactly 6 p.m.

The exhibit is spearheaded by the Commission on Higher Education Region 10 and the Father Saturnino Urios University.
