THE BILIRAN Province State University will soon offer the Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation program after securing the nod of the Commission on Higher Education

The Maritime Industry Authority and CHED
found BiPSU compliant with the standards set for the program.

CHED and MARINA visited BiPSU for an evaluation and inspection on February 15 to 17, 2023.

The university said the inspection “is the last step in the application process for government authority to operate maritime-related programs.”

BSMT is a degree program that aims to produce graduates who are competent to pursue a career or advanced studies in a related maritime field of specialization.

The program is seen to help produce maritime experts in Biliran.
