THE BAGUIO City government has recognized the Saint Louis University for its exemplary performance in the 2020/2021 Bar Examinations and November 2022 Nursing Licensure Exam.

City officials passed separate resolutions commending the university’s accomplishments, the city’s public information office said.

SLU was declared the top law school in the country under Category 2 in the 2020/2021 Bar exams held in February 2022, with a passing rate of 98.66 percent for its first takers.

Of the number, 12 percent were cited for their exemplary performance in the exams for getting a rating of at least 85 percent.

“The SLU School of Law also proved itself as one of the top law schools in the country and has shown its steadfast commitment in the development of ethical and competent lawyers who uphold the rule of law and respect to judicial institutions,” the public information said.

“The body stipulated that the citations of the SLU School of Law as the top law school in the country has brought honor to the city and its constituents, proving that the city is home to the top institution for the study of law,” it added.

Meanwhile, SLU was the top performing school in this year’s NLE with 100 percent passing rate.

Data from the Philippine Regulations Commission showed that all 399 examinees from the university passed. Eleven of them landed as top notchers.
