ATENEO TO CONTINUE ONLINE CLASSES UNTIL NEXT YEAR
THE ATENEO de Manila University will continue to hold online classes until the second semester of Academic Year 2020-2021.
The school’s Office of the President said that online classes will be held until May 2021.
“This decision came after a careful consideration of the national and international health situation as well as the prevailing government health guidelines,” Fr. Roberto Yap, university president, said.
Covid cases have again started to rise in Metro Manila and in other provinces, prompting President Rodrigo Duterte to keep these areas under general community quarantine until the end of the year.
Yap instructed vice presidents to find ways to help ensure that this school year will be bearable for all.
“In view of this, I have asked the Vice Presidents of the academic units to make the appropriate arrangements and announcements in their respective clusters concerning the details of online classes for the rest of School Year 2020-2021,” he said.
