ATENEO LAW SCHOOL STUDENTS GET FINANCIAL AID

/ 30 January 2023

MORE students have received financial grants from the Ateneo de Manila Law School through its Aid Upon Admission Cycle.

ALS said it awarded 41 grants during the first semester of Academic Year 2022-2023, or 14% of its students.

It was the highest number of recipients in its history.

Around 60% of those who received the grant graduated with Latin Honors.

“This is a testament to the generosity of ALS alumni and benefactors, and a manifestation of the university’s determination to improve access to quality education,” the law school said

“ALS is proud to be able to provide more financial aid to those in need. ALS is also pleased to see that this cycle, ALS awarded grants to students from diverse backgrounds, including those from low-income households and first-generation law students from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao,” it added.

The law school expressed hope that the program will continue to grow.

“ALS look forward to continuing its efforts to provide financial aid to those who need it and to positively impact its community,” it said.
