ASCOT ACQUIRES P35-M ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT
THE AURORA State College of Technology has procured equipment worth P35 million to boost its School of Engineering’s capabilities.
Among those purchased were a universal testing machine, geotechnical engineering equipment and apparatus, construction material testing apparatus and hydraulic laboratory equipment.
These will aid the university in its bid to secure a Certificate of Program Compliance from the Commission on Higher Education.
The devices will be used by civil, mechanical and electrical engineering students in their laboratory classes “to ensure more hands-on learning that is at par with the state-of-the-art standards.”
The college will also construct a two-story engineering building after securing a funding of P30 million.
