ARELLANO TO APPLY PLMS BLENDED LEARNING SCHEME IN CLASS OPENING
ARELLANO University will be using a blended learning scheme called ‘Pegasus Learning Management System’ (PLMS) once classes start two weeks from now.
Under the platform, the scheme will be used to disseminate quizzes, activities, and instructional materials for students with internet connection, while students without internet access will be provided printed materials.
Classes for college and graduate school levels at Arellano University start on August 24, while pre-school and senior high school will be on the 28th.
Apart from the printed materials, the university will also give option to all bonafide students to receive wifi modems and participate in online classes which contain an initial load balance of 10GB, a part of which is allocated to PLMS.
Meanwhile, the university announced its premises will be closed from August 4 to 18 to comply with the quarantine guidelines after the National Capital Region was put under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ).
All transactions will be done online.
