NEARLY 7,000 students of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila have received their P1,000 monthly allowance.

The P1,000 cash aid under the city’s Social Amelioration Program for students was released through Landbank cash cards previously distributed to enrollees who are bonafide residents of Manila.

PLM President Emmanuel Leyco thanked the city government for providing assistance to PLM students.

“We thank the City Government of Manila for its continued assistance to PLM students through the SAP, especially during this challenging period of distance learning. These student benefits would be of great help to them in improving their connectivity and later on, in preparing for the gradual resumption of face-to-face classes,” he said.

Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’  Domagoso signed the release of P44.62 million in student allowances for 11,155 PLM students on October 26, covering payouts from September to December 2021.
