THE AGUSAN Del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology paid tribute to the former Officer-in-Charge of the school’s Office of the President.

The school aired its condolences to the family of Dr. Roberto N. Padua, who took charge running the Office of the President from January to August 2001.

Padua died last November 3. He was 62.

The school noted Padua was of great help in establishing ASSCAT to what it is now.

“We pray for your eternal rest. We thank you for steering ASSCAT in its infancy stage and for pushing us to the next higher level,” it said on its Facebook page.

“Your influence is historic in the existence of ASSCAT and your guidance placed ASSCAT in its strategic position now,” it added.
