ADAMSON UNIVERSITY SUSPENDS CLASSES
THE ADAMSON University will suspend synchronous classes for four days to give students “breathing space” for their mental health and well-being.
“Recognizing the need of our students for mental health break to sustain their well-being, no synchronous classes in all levels,” AdU announced on its official Facebook page.
The break will start on October 30 and will end on November 2, a joint memorandum from the office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and office of the Vice President for Student Affairs said.
However, the university clarified that there will be minimal asynchronous activities.
“Faculty members are strongly advised to give moderate or minimal asynchronous activities or assignments only if deemed indispensable,” AdU said.
Meanwhile, the webinar that was scheduled on October 31 will push through but participation is voluntary.
