ADAMSON UNIVERSITY STUDENT IS IN TROUBLE OVER LEWD JOKES
THE ADAMSON UNIVERSITY on Monday said its discipline office will address the issue involving one of its students who allegedly sent lewd remarks to a woman online.
“Recently a report of a student’s misbehavior in social media has reached our office. Our Discipline Section is now addressing this concern for appropriate action,” Adamson said in a statement.
“Students are reminded to always act with caution and circumspect in their online dealings and activities,” it added.
On January 2, Julia Andrew Lorenzana (@JuliaAndrewM) posted a tweet showing a screenshot of her conversation with James Harry Soriano.
In the conversation, Lorenzana said she was drinking with other people to which Soriano replied “’Pag nalasing ka baby patungan na kita.”
Lorenzana shot down his advances, however, and Soriano replied with “Ayaw mo ba ?” and “Rape in kita bab[y].”
Lorenzana vowed to take legal action against Soriano.
In one of her recent tweets, she said Soriano’s family has apologized to her and asked for her forgiveness.
“Let me teach your son a lesson,” was her response.
James Soriano’s social media accounts had been deactivated.
