TWO students from the Philippine Science High School main campus won in the 3D Pan-Asia Pacific International Mathematics Invitation Competition held in Hong Kong last month.

Jose Franco Doming was the sole gold medalist from the Philippine delegation in the individual category of the Junior Secondary Division.

Erwyn Andrei Vibal secured the bronze medal in the same category.

Domingo and Vibal were the second runner-up in the team category. They collaborated with two other student participants in the Philippines.

The competition was attended by around 200 participants from eight regions and countries, including China, Hong Kong, Macao, Philippines and Malaysia, among others.

It aimed to encourage creativity, innovation, problem-solving, and team cooperation in primary and secondary school students.
