Pulitzer Prize Awardee Manny Mogato will be one of the speakers in a webinar ok fact-checking.

Group “Ebak” will be holding a webinar to give awareness to youth on fact-checking as the election nears, which will be held on October 27 at 1:00 pm.

“Kung ikaw ay isang campus journalist na sawa na sa mga naglilipanang pekeng balita sa Facebook, tara na’t makibahagi sa aming bubuoing fact-checking team!” the group said.

Tita Valderama, editor in Vera Files will also be one of the speakers of the said webinar titled “What the FACT: Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation through Fact checking.”

“Layunin ng grupo na bantayan ang mga ipinapakalat na bidyo, balita, larawan na ginagamit bilang propaganda ngayong darating na #Halalan2022,” it said.
