PROJECT ZENITH TURNS BACK TIME WITH NEWSTALGIA

An Immersive Experience Where Memories Become Marketing

28 May 2026

What makes people remember a brand? Sometimes, it is not just the product, but the feeling attached to it. From childhood snacks and after school shows to timeless OPM hits and familiar catchphrases, nostalgia continues to influence how audiences connect with stories and experiences today.

This June 9, PROJECT ZENITH, a premier student led production under the Polytechnic University of the Philippines College of Business Administration, presents NEWSTALGIA: When Memories Meet Marketing, happening from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at PUP Bulwagang Balagtas.

Blending academic insight with cultural familiarity, NEWSTALGIA explores how nostalgia shapes consumer behavior, emotional engagement, and brand relevance in modern marketing. The event aims to show how familiar memories and shared experiences can become powerful storytelling tools that strengthen audience connection across generations.

Participants can expect insightful discussions, interactive activities, nostalgic themed spaces, and performances that celebrate Filipino culture and collective memory. The event will be hosted by Buknoy Gonzales and Angelica Marie Sanchez, bringing excitement and energy to the overall experience.

Special performances will also come from indie pop artist Harry Ocampo, rising Filipino R&B boy group Xerenade, and a surprise special guest whose music audiences may remember from their younger years.

Expected to gather hundreds of participants fondly called “Bagets,” NEWSTALGIA welcomes PUP Marketing students, fellow Iskolar ng Bayan, partner schools, alumni, organizations, and individuals passionate about branding, storytelling, and marketing innovation.
