MedTalk 2021: Get that MD, Doc! is a two-day webinar that will happen on October 9, 2021 to October 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM via the Zoom teleconferencing software program and will be broadcasted via Facebook LIVE. The annual event is organized by the UP Biological Sciences Society, the oldest academic, non-profit, university-wide-biology-based organization at the University of the Philippines – Manila.

This year’s MedTalk aims to guide pre-medical students in choosing the medical school fit for them, acquaint aspiring doctors with the curriculum and admission policies of the school of their choice, and provide primary information regarding available off-campus scholarships. Influential medical doctors will also grace the event as guest speakers to inspire the attendees of their medical journey and the medical life itself. Finally, the event will also feature speakers who will provide indispensable tips for the upcoming National Medical Admission Test (NMAT).

Among the confirmed schools who will attend the event are the University of the Philippines Manila College of Medicine, the Cebu Institute of Medicine, the St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine-William H. Quasha Memorial, the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center College of Medicine, the Ateneo de Manila University School of Medicine and Public Health, and the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute College of Medicine.
