Philippine Medical Students’ Association will be holding a webinar, calling for improvement of the healthcare system in the country.

PMSA said that Duterte administration has still made no improvements in the “weak, expensive, and suffering healthcare system of the country especially during this health crisis.”

“Lives of the Filipinos are seen as mere numbers, and not as citizens, a parent to their children, or a friend in their community. Many are still deprived of the basic services that are essential in preserving their health. This demoralizing and infuriating system has to change and must end by ousting the prime instigator— Duterte,” the group added.

The group is calling students, youth workers, healthcare workers and health advocates to join the event on November 14 at 2:00 pm.

“[Join us] as we continue to expose the criminal negligence and tyranny of the Duterte administration that have led to the present ailing healthcare system and partake in the struggles of the basic masses!”
