The Catanduanes State University on Tuesday announced the reopening of the search for its next president.

CatSU said that applicants must be at least 35-years-old, a natural-born Filipino citizen, has an earned doctorate degree, has a good track record and unquestionable moral integrity.

Interested applicants must prepare a formal application letter, detailed curriculum vitae, certified true copy of the document in support of the CV, proposed mission, vision, and development goals, and certifications from Courts, Civil Service Commission, National Bureau of Investigation, and Ombudsman that shows the applicant does not have a pending administrative or criminal case.

A birth certificate, a Medical Certificate of Physical Fitness, and a result of a neuro-psychiatric examination from a DOH-accredited health institution are also needed.

“An applicant who does not meet any one of the abovementioned minimum qualifications and cannot submit pertinent supporting documentary evidences for these minimum qualifications on the set deadline shall be disqualified from the Search Process,” CatSU said.

“The search committee for the Presidency reserves the right to validate and verify the authenticity of documents submitted and the right to accept or reject any document that it deems questionable,” it added.
