MODYUL BAYLO BUGAS: NEGROS LEARNERS GET RICE FOR COMPLETING MODULES
STUDENTS in at least 26 public and two private schools in Toboso, Negros Occidental will receive a reward for continuing their studies: rice for their family.
The local government recently launched the “Modyul Baylo Bugas” or MBB scheme which aims at encouraging learners to finish their modules.
Also covered by the program are students enrolled in the Alternative Learning System.
The program was launched as a way to support the implementation of the Education department’s Basic Education-Learning Continuity Plan.
Officials noted that the number of late enrollees continue to increase because of the initiative.
Parents appear more inspired and have taken a more active participation in the education of their children, they said.
