EDUCATION Secretary Sonny Angara visited the Roberto S. Benedicto Integrated School in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental, to distribute EdukAhon packages to students affected by Typhoon Tino.

During the visit, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) turned over Starlink units to the school to help restore connectivity in the area.

The Department of Education also provided laptops donated by the ConnectED Her Legacy Foundation.

Officials likewise inspected the damage sustained by the school during the typhoon.

Angara was joined by Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco, Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose V. Lacson, La Carlota City Mayor Jose Luis Jalandoni, representatives from the DICT, and other local officials.
