1 October 2025

Globe continues to assist communities affected by Typhoon Opong, focusing on the restoration of connectivity across South Luzon and Visayas. The company has mobilized its network and relief teams to support ongoing recovery.

As of the latest update, Typhoon Opong has affected 29 provinces: 14 in South Luzon and 15 across Visayas.

In South Luzon, Globe has fully restored service in the hardest hit province of Camarines Norte. Recovery work continues in other provinces with teams deployed on the ground.

In Visayas, restoration efforts have brought services back in Bohol, Guimaras, Eastern Samar, Capiz, Cebu, Southern Leyte, Aklan, Antique, and Negros Oriental.

Globe field teams are now closely coordinating with power utilities and LGUs in these areas to restore services and ensure connectivity returns as quickly and safely as possible. Standby Libreng Tawag and Libreng Charging (LTLC) stations are being prepared for activation based on needs on the ground.
