From masterworks by National Artists to a rare first-edition copy of Dr. Jose Rizal’s Noli Me Tangere, Salcedo Auctions has returned this September with its signature marquee event, The Well-Appointed Life.

Presented in partnership with Education & Public Programs Partner Asia Society Philippines, the auction showcases centuries of Philippine art, rare collectibles, fine jewelry, antique furniture, and ecclesiastical treasures.

The auction highlights masterpieces and devotional artworks by National Artists Fernando Amorsolo, BenCab, Ang Kiukok, Jose Joya, and more, alongside pieces reflecting Filipino devotion from an 18th-century Parián Corpus Christi to modern interpretations by some artists like Danilo Dalena and Félix Resurrección Hidalgo.

Meanwhile, contemporary art pieces by Elmer Borlongan, Solomon Saprid, Leslie de Chavez, Michael Cacnio, Johanna Helmuth, and more were highlighted.

This curated selection features coveted rarities spanning historical ecclesiastical art, fine heirloom furniture, and scarce books, headlined by Jose Rizal’s seminal novel.

The auction will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at NEX Tower on Ayala Avenue in Makati City. Bidding begins with an online-only morning sale at 10:00 AM, followed by a combined live and online afternoon session starting at 2:00 PM.
