FEU STUDENTS SELECTED AS PHILIPPINE DELEGATES TO 4TH YNDPP
FOUR student leaders from Far Eastern University have been officially selected as the Philippine delegation to the 4th Youth Network on Drug Programme (YNDPP), which will take place from January 30 to February 8, 2025, in Thailand and Cambodia.
The YNDPP is expected to bring together over 40 delegates from ASEAN member countries to engage in discussions and initiatives on drug prevention and youth empowerment.
The FEU student leaders were chosen by a screening committee that included representatives from Thailand’s Office of the Narcotics Control Board, in recognition of their exceptional leadership skills.
The official delegates are:
Julianne Faith Alforte – President, FEU Drug Abuse Prevention Core Group (DAPCG) – BS Nursing (4th year)
Keana Dominique Mangalino – Vice President, FEU Drug Abuse Prevention Core Group (DAPCG) – BS Nursing (3rd year)
Monika Panganiban – IAS Representative, DAPCG; IAS Student Council Auditor – BS Psychology (3rd year)
Hans Gabriel Empleo – Vice President, Tamaraw Volunteers (TamVol) – BS Political Science (4th year)
The YNDPP provides a platform for young leaders to collaborate on drug prevention strategies, strengthen regional cooperation, and develop action plans to address drug-related issues in their respective communities.
