THE DEPARTMENT of Education has forged partnerships with four educational organizations to support students and teachers and to implement projects aimed at improving the education sector.
The partners include AHA Learning Center, China Bank Savings, Chalkboard, and Unilever Philippines.
Joining Education Secretary Sonny Angara for the ceremonial signing of the memorandums of agreement were AHA Learning Center Founder and Executive Director Antonio “Jaton” Zulueta Jr., CBS First Vice President Niel Jumawan, Chalkboard CEO Kristine Brown, and Unilever Philippines Nutrition Lead Marinelle Villanueva.
The signing of the MOAs highlighted several programs and initiatives:
AHA Learning Center: Implementation of the Learning at the Right Level program and the Mentorship Program for Rise.
China Bank Savings: Support for DepEd’s National Teachers’ Month and National Teachers’ Day, including sponsorship of major prizes and giveaways for teachers during the culminating events.
Chalkboard: Assistance for the Academic Remediation, Acceleration, and Livelihood Program.
Unilever Philippines: Provision of 40,000 USB drives containing educational videos and 60,000 recipe booklets co-created with the Department of Science and Technology.
