THE ATENEO de Manila University opened the period of application of freshmen for Academic Year 2025-2026.

“Admission to Ateneo de Manila University is open to qualified young individuals, regardless of nationality, creed, gender, residence, or financial capability,” Ateneo said in an advisory.

“Admission to Ateneo’s college programs is determined by the applicant’s fitness and preparation for undergraduate study; ability to contribute toward the enrichment of Ateneo’s academic community; and potential to be of service to others,” it added.

The ACET will be administered from October 19 to 20 for applicants in the National Capital Region, and from Oct. 26 to 27 for applicants outside NCR.

Qualified students are selected by the Committee on Admission and Aid, which bases decisions on ACET, past academic performance, recommendations of teachers, and information written down on the application form.

The deadline for the submission of applications is on September 24. The application process will be fully online, the university said.

Scholarships and financial assistance programs are also being offered by the university.

Applicants were advised to visit https://apply.ateneo.edu for updates and guidelines at the Ateneo admissions portal.

Decision on applications will be released in March 2025.
