A CHOIR group from the Rizal Technological University won an award at the Philippine Finest Business Awards and Outstanding Achievers.

Himig Rizalia bagged the Most Outstanding Cultural Choir award.

University President Dr. Ma. Eugenia Yangco and Vice President for Finance and Administration Dr. Rodolfo Ducut represented the group and the university during the ceremony.

“This recognition reinforces RTU’s commitment to providing its students with a more comprehensive and well-rounded education that nurtures their talents and equips them with the skills necessary for success in various fields,” the school said.

“Furthermore, Himig Rizalia’s success inspires other choral ensembles, proving that greater heights can be attained with perseverance, hard work, and a commitment to quality,” it added.

The group was led by University Center for Culture, Arts, and Events director Prof. Julian Santos. They were trained by Ranier Aguilar.

The Philippine Finest Business Award recognizes outstanding organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of the various sectors of the country.
