THE BANGSAMORO Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education has signed the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Bangsamoro Education Code.

MBHTE Minister Mohagher Iqbal led the signing on Tuesday.

The BEC aims to give children access to quality education.

This is through the placement of mechanisms in the Bangsamoro Education System in formal, non-formal, public and private learning institutions in the Bangsamoro region.

“The IRR aims to… provide concrete mechanisms for its effective implementation to the end that no Bangsamoro child shall be left behind in the pursuit of quality, accessible, inclusive, and liberating education,” MBHTE said in a statement.

A two-day finalization activity was held in Davao City before the signing which was facilitated by the Technical Working Group for the IRR finalization.

It was attended by officials of the MBHTE, Technical Education and Skills Development provincial directors and administrators.
