NORSU SET TO LAUNCH ONLINE LIBRARY ISKOLARS’ BOOK VAULT
THE NEGROS Oriental State University student organization will be launching Iskolars’ Book Vault, an online library containing recommended books for Department of Science and Technology priority courses.
The library is set for an April 23 inauguration and accessible to DOST scholars and students outside the organization.
NORSU president Tharen Ferrolino appointed seven delegates from various colleges to inquire about the books that their constituents strongly suggest.
The seven representatives comprised two scholars from the College of Arts and Sciences, two from College of Engineering and Architecture, one from College of Nursing, Pharmacy, and Allied Health Sciences, one from College of Teacher Education, and one representing the scholars from the external campuses.
According to Ferrolino, the project is possible because of the researchers’ combined work.
“We just want this to be one of our legacies for our organization and NORSU. We, DOST scholars, are grateful for the privileges we receive every academic year, and this project is one of our ways to give back. This is our way of paying it forward,” Ferrolino added.
