CHMSC VACCINATES 343 STUDENTS
THE CARLOS Hilado Memorial State College in Talisay, Negros Occidental has vaccinated 343 students with their first dose on Monday.
CHMSC said the inoculation is part of its vaccination campaign before the return of limited face-to-face classes next year.
The college said 576 students initially registered for the vaccination.
The vaccines that were allotted for the students came from the Talisay Health Office.
The college also thanked its volunteers, its officials and the vaccination team from the health office for making the event possible.
The Commission on Higher Education said that schools under Alert 2 or lower can conduct limited face-to-face classes if they have a high vaccination rate, retrofitted facilities and approval from the concerned local government unit.
The province of Negros Occidental was placed under Alert Level 2 from November 15 to 30, 2021.
